Getting the most out of your appointment
When should I start shopping?✨
We recommend beginning your wedding‑dress shopping around 9–12 months before your wedding date. If you’ve already secured your venue, dress shopping is often the natural next step, as your gown, much like your venue; can help shape the overall style and feel of your day.
That said, you can start looking whenever you feel ready to take that exciting step. The most important thing is not leaving your order too late, as this can create unnecessary stress.
If you are working to a shorter timeframe, many of our designers do offer rush orders, though these do come with an additional charge.
What should I expect at my first appointment?✨
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome from one of our Bridal Consultants, who will take the time to sit with you, listen to your vision, and truly get to know you and your dreams for your special day.
Your appointment will last a minimum of 1.5 hours, giving you plenty of time to enjoy trying on a beautiful selection of gowns. During this time, we’ll explore shapes, fabrics and details to discover what feels most “you”; ensuring the dress you fall in love with reflects your personality, your style, and the wedding you’re dreaming of.
Our goal is simple: to help you find a gown that feels perfect, authentic, and wonderfully you.
Who should I bring with me?✨
Choosing your wedding dress is a truly special moment, and we know how meaningful it can be to share that experience with your closest friends and family. To keep our appointments calm, comfortable and safe, we kindly ask that you bring up to three guests with you into the boutique.
If you’d like to include additional loved ones, we’re very happy to arrange virtual attendance so they can join you from afar. Just let us know, and we’ll guide you through how this works. We do recommend keeping virtual guests to a small number, around two or three; so the appointment remains enjoyable and the focus stays on you.
Most importantly, bring the people whose opinions you value and trust. Too many voices can make the decision feel overwhelming, and your own instinct is the one that matters most. This is your moment, and we want you to feel supported, confident and completely yourself.
What should I bring and/or wear for my first appointment?✨
We always suggest you wear nude underwear to ensure you are not distracted by bright coloured underwear or bra straps! If you have a strapless bra this also helps. However, there is no need to go out and buy one specifically as most dresses have sufficient support built in.
What is the price range of your gowns✨
Typically our dresses are priced between £1500 – £3000, a generous price range for a wide range of brides to find their dream dress.
What size are your sample dresses?✨
Our wedding dress samples vary in sizes, however we do have dresses available from 8-28 to ensure all brides are able to try on dresses at their appointment. If a sample is not held in your specific size, we have many ways of ensuring you can visualise how the dress will look on you… tricks of the trade!! It is very rare that a sample dress will fit any bride perfectly. The majority of brides will require fitting appointments following delivery of their dress, to ensure their dress fits perfectly on their wedding day. If you love a dress at the buying stage you are going to feel absolutely amazing when it is fitted to you.
Do you charge for appointments?✨
We charge a £20.00 for Saturday and evening appointments ONLY, as these appointments are always in high demand.
What happens after my dress has been ordered?✨
Once we have ordered your dress we will confirm the order by email along with details of what to expect next. Once the dress has arrived at the warehouse, any outstanding balance will be requested at this stage, once the balance has been paid your gown will be dispatched to us here at the boutique. Once your gown arrives we will contact you to arrange to come and try on your dress, this is very exciting! We will then discuss with you what – if any, alterations are required. We will also help you choose your accessories, veil and any jewellery to complete your style/vision.
