Hi, I’m Lorraine.

I’m the proud owner of Gatehouse Brides, the most iconic bridal boutique that has been part of Worcester’s Barbourne Road since 1988.

Owning a bridal boutique has been my dream for almost a decade, so taking over Gatehouse Brides feels incredibly special. It is a place my daughters and I have admired for many years, and becoming its owner has fulfilled a long-held ambition beyond anything I could have imagined.

As a mum to three daughters, all now married, I understand just how meaningful finding the dress can be. It is about far more than choosing a beautiful gown – it is a moment shared with the people closest to you and a memory that stays with you long after the wedding day. My aim is to ensure every bride who visits us feels welcomed, supported and celebrated.

Hi, I’m Julie.

I am one of the bridal consultants here at Gatehouse Brides, I am extremely fortunate to be able to help find our brides their dream dress, it’s so very special when the bride enters our boutique all nervous and apprehensive, to then watch them see themselves for the first time in one of our beautiful hand picked dresses, I see their confidence grow as she can now begin to visualise her big day, that feeling when you know she’s found the one! I’m often the one in tears as she says Yes to her dress.

So me….  I’ve been married since 1995, we have 2 adult children.

During our many years together my husband and I love to travel, we’ve been fortunate to have been to some amazing destinations, my favourite place so far has to be Singapore, Bali & Hong Kong a very magical holiday
