Huge congratulations on becoming a Gatehouse Bride. We’re delighted to be part of your bridal journey and can’t wait for you to see your beautiful gown when it arrives.

Once your gown is in the boutique, your next step will be to contact one of our trusted seamstresses to arrange your first fitting. Their expertise ensures your gown is tailored perfectly to you.

Our seamstresses usually work to an 8–12 week timeline before your wedding, please clarify directly with them.

Please note that all seamstresses operate independently from Gatehouse Brides. Alteration costs and payments are discussed directly with your chosen seamstress; Gatehouse Brides are not responsible for any work carried out or payments.

 We have also recently connected with seamstresses located within Worcester city centre who both have their own allocated private space for brides to feel comfortable having alterations done:

• Zip Yard: Lucy the owner, is happy to help price for any alterations and has an allocated area specifically for bridal alterations. They are located on Pump Street.

Dress Steaming✨

We offer all our lovely Gatehouse brides the opportunity to have your gown steamed ahead of your special day. If your bridesmaids dresses are also purchased from us, we will also steam them for you. 

If your gown is purchased elsewhere we can still offer this service at a cost between £35-£75; including veil. Please contact us directly for more details – info@gatehousebrides.co.uk 

After-Wedding Gown Cleaning Service✨

Introducing our After-Wedding Dress Cleaning Service. After your special day we will carefully clean and steam your gown, it will then be boxed for you to keep safe. We are offering this service to our Gatehouse Brides for a special price of £195. If your gown is purchased elsewhere the cost would be between £220-£250.
