You may have noticed a few things have changed in the Gatehouse Brides world recently. We have been working oh so hard behind the scenes freshening up, polishing up, and generally levelling up our game. Can you tell? After our amazing news of being Highly-Commended in the Regional National Wedding Awards we wanted to prove to ourselves, and of course, all the lovely brides who put their trust in us, that we still have a lot to achieve and more we want to do.

That all started with our website refresh. How do we look? We want our online appearance to stay up to date with the style and ethos you have come to know and love when you visit us at our Worcester Bridal Shop. From how we interact, the attention to detail, the high levels of service plus the stunning styles of wedding dresses and designers we choose to stock. All of these things have changed over time. We have become more refined, and hopefully, in touch with what our brides want. We hope all of this is conveyed on these pages and you like what you see. And hopefully, that helps you take that first step to book an appointment with us.

We have also recently taken on a new designer who we believe will blow you away with their stunning designs and attention to detail. When the opportunity arose to stock them we carefully considered all that they had to offer and after making sure that was in line with our brand values and seeing the quality of their gowns we couldn’t wait to get our hands on them.

Ellis Bridal

We are thrilled to have such an illustrious brand gracing our rails at Gatehouse Brides; and what a year for us to start stocking them. This year, Ellis Bridal is celebrating 100 years at the top of the bridal industry. Can you imagine that; 100 years of history, heritage, and experience in designing wedding dresses. How the styles have changed over the years and decades, how the brand managed to stay at the forefront of the industry. Dressing 1000’s of brides, all the while still remaining current and creative and striving to craft each gown perfect in their own way.

One of the many things we love about Ellis is that it is a British brand and now in its 4th generation, there is an Ellis at the helm; the family seems to have bridal fashion running through their bones. The love of bridal and design has been passed down through the generations allowing them to create truly elegant and sophisticated gowns that are perfect for the modern, feminine, stylish bride.

The Ellis gowns have been on our rails for a little while already at Gatehouse Brides in Worcester. We wanted to glean your reactions and to see if our lovely brides loved them as much as we do before shouting it from the rooftops. Luckily; you all have impeccable taste.
