WOW! WOW! WOW! We had the best news of the year so far this week (we know we are fresh into 2022 but still!) when we were honoured with the award “Highly Commended Bridal Retailer” of the year at the 2022 Wedding Industry Awards. We were over the moon to pick up this highly coveted award. Not just because it is one of our industry’s leading awards but because the judging panel base their decisions on real client feedback.

This is such a huge honour for us at Gatehouse Brides. It was our first-ever awards we have entered so to receive highly commended is amazing to us. It lets us know that we are on the right track and providing our clients with not only beautiful wedding dresses but an unforgettable and top-quality service too. Thrilled is an understatement.

It is no secret that the pandemic and last few years have hit the bridal industry hard, actually everybody on the entire planet hard. To receive this news at the opening gate of 2022 sort of feels like the start of a new story. A  better, brighter story filled with love, laughter, and quite a few bubbles if the other night was anything to go by.

It was amazing night, the whole team had so much fun and it gave us all a real lift to get this recognition. It has put some real wind in our sails to make sure 2022 is our best year yet. With many, many more brides passing through our doors and leaving feeling fantastic.

2023 regional winners?! (We sure hope so!)

We like to think we do many things to make sure we are one of the most positive bridal shop experiences you can have in Birmingham and the West Midlands. Stocking an amazing range of wedding dresses and bridesmaid dress in sizes to fit real brides is the first and most obvious. Along with providing a range of appointments and at times to suit, especially now we have introduced our Sunday openings. I genuinely think, the thing that sets us apart is our commitment to our brides. We listen, we care and we try to make sure all our brides have the most amazing time with us. Regardless of whether they purchase a dress or not. We want to empower and inspire our brides.

What we want, what we really, really want is for 2022 to be amazing for all our brides and to go back to The Wedding Industry Awards this time next year and be the winners!!!
