Gatehouse brides wedding dresses worcester events feature

So often here on the blog, we shout about all the wonderful events coming up but we don’t actually shout about how much fun they were once they’ve passed! Well this week, we wanted to follow up on some of the recent events us Gatehouse girls have been a part of and give you a little insight into how much fun we have working in our lovely little Worcester bridal shop.

Oldcastle Wedding Fair – 16 September 2018

First up, we laid out quite a few wedding fairs that we have over September and October in our recent blog post here, and the first of these was the Oldcastle Bridal Pooch Party on Sunday 16th September. We had such a fabulous day, met some beautiful brides to be and had a day filled with fun. As well as the usual supplier exhibits, there was also a mock wedding and dog fashion wear! Your prize pooch needn’t miss out on all your big day fun, get them dressed up to the nines and involve them in the ceremony!

The beautiful “ Belle” dress from Eliza & Ethan (pictured top right) – which incidentally we launched at our recent Eliza and Ethan event (more on that to follow!) was a real showstopper at the end of the catwalk show at the Oldcastle wedding fair last Sunday. Eliza and Ethan Trunk Show – 14-17th September

We were bursting with excitement on the run up to this event. Eliza and Ethan are an LA based bridal brand and we fell head over heels with their designs when we saw them and were delighted to be amongst the first UK bridal boutiques to stock their wedding dresses back in March this year. So when we were able to bring the brand new collection to our brides, by way of a four day trunk show, it was all we could do to stop ourselves shouting it from the rooftops of Worcester!!

Louise Salih, the European distributor for Eliza & Ethan came along to Gatehouse Brides, bringing with her the whole of the brand new collection of dresses and they went down an absolute storm with our brides – of course we never imagined it being any other way.

We have five more wedding fairs coming up over the next few weeks – the next one being this Sunday 30th September at Brooks Country House, hope to see you there!
